How Mark Zuckerberg Got Into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. It involves using leverage, technique, and submissions to control and defeat an opponent. It is widely practiced by mixed martial artists and self-defense enthusiasts.

Mark Zuckerberg told Joe Rogan in 2022 that he liked the primal and intense nature of the sport, and also introduced some of his friends to it.

He also became a fan of watching UFC events and developed a friendship with UFC president Dana White.

He posted a video of himself sparring with MMA fighter Khai Wu in 2022, which drew praise from many prominent figures in the fight world, such as Joe Rogan, Gilbert Burns, and Bernardo Faria.
